Our Story

Jason and Jessica Sterling are the owners of SKD Events LLC, which has been running for nearly seven years with two successful racing series:

Arkansas Cross Country Racing (AXC) & Missouri Cross Country Racing (MXC)

They are the proud parents of three boys—Garrett (17), Colton (14), and Ryder (11)—and have two adopted children, Lindsey Roberts (31) and Ryan Daugherty (26).

Jason, a two-time Purple Heart Veteran of the U.S. Army, and Jessica, a 6th grade teacher and Doctoral candidate at Evangel University, are passionate about creating a family-centered racing community. They live by their motto, “Family, Start to Finish!” and are deeply committed to making their races a welcoming and supportive environment for racers, families, and volunteers alike.

They feel truly blessed to be part of this amazing community and recognize that they couldn’t have reached this point without the dedication of their sponsors, crew, racers, and families. Together, Jason and Jessica strive to honor the hard work and commitment that makes the SKD Events LLC racing community so special.
